My mom has been having health problems for a while now, and yesterday she finally went for an MRI scan. They found a 4cm growth in the back of her brain. The good news is that it is probably not cancerous and is most likely benign. The exact results will be out today, and they highly recommend surgery as soon as possible. They just called me and told me that the airport card was just popped out of the contact point, they had to push it back ina dn it was fine. I usually don't blog about tech stuff that isn't Apple or cute handphones, but wow. Kodak just announced yesterday that they've invented, get this, a cheap 100 year ink. As in inkjet printer ink that will last 100 years instead of the normal 15 years. AND, they're giving the printer makers a run for their money with three new inkjet printers ( Read more... )

Come March 13th of this year, Powerbook G4s are officially labeled as "vintage" by Apple Inc. and will cease to have support for them, namely you can no longer get service parts from Apple for them.
